This is a competition-grade Jin Jun Mei crafted exclusively from early spring buds. The delicate processing—done in multiple careful stages—coaxes out deep layers of flavor, bringing forward notes of honey, cocoa, and malt, all wrapped in a velvety body with a lingering floral sweetness. The aroma is rich and full, with a complexity that rewards slow sipping and focused sessions.

Harvested in late March from Tong Mu Guan Village, nestled in the Wuyi Mountains of Fujian, this batch represents one of the finest Jin Jun Mei harvests in recent memory. Tong Mu Guan is widely considered the birthplace of Jin Jun Mei, and its high elevation and pristine environment make it ideal for producing exceptional black teas.

Brew this tea gently—85–90°C water, short steeps at first—to allow its delicate sweetness and nuanced character to shine.
