Yunnan Black Gold Bi Luo Chun – Simao Region

This is a classic Yunnan black tea crafted from one bud and one leaf, tightly rolled into golden-tipped spirals. The careful rolling and sun-drying process brings out bold malty depth, layered with notes of honey, bittersweet cocoa, and a touch of wildflower florals. The liquor is rich and amber-golden, with a smooth body and lingering sweetness that evolves beautifully over multiple steeps.

Harvested in spring from the misty mountains of Yunnan’s Simao region, this tea showcases the hearty, complex character Yunnan blacks are known for. While the Spring harvest offers depth and strength, Autumn tends to be more golden-tipped and sweeter—each season with its own charm. With time, both develop a mellowed, honeyed character ideal for aging.

Brew this tea with confidence—90–95°C water and short steeps work best to coax out its balance of richness and brightness.
